A Tale of Two Haircuts

Today my essay "A Tale of Two Haircuts" was published. It's about lots of things--the nature of memory, celebrity, and genetic transmission among them. But its core topic is hair--its shaping and misshaping.

Here's me in my seventies Dorothy Hamill. And here's my lollipop-wielding son in what I'm calling his modified Bieber, although for various complex reasons he'd resist the comparison.
